Priority #1 always: staying warm. I think blankets that you plan to use outdoors are a great item to pick up second-hand: I’m currently on the lookout for quality wool or Mexican Falsa blankets that will last forever and love the idea of sewing on a waterproof backing to make them even more functional.
I’m forever impressed by the blankets I see from Scottish brand Tartan Blanket Co., the blanket icon that is Pendleton Woolen Mills, as well as newer brands like Rumpl and Horizon Hound for packable and sustainable down options.
2. A truly great little speaker
I am obsessed with this thing and use it daily. It’s tiny, waterproof, drop-proof, and a good price. And sounds SO good for its size. Easy to clip onto a backpack for a hike, hang up in the shower, use around the campfire…
